Tangent Scale Models 60021 ICC B&O I-18 Caboose Baltimore & Ohio (1965+ Era) B&O

Baltimore & Ohio (B&O) Original Blue 1965 Screens replicates the as-delivered International Car Company paint scheme paired with the early version of the bay window screens application. All 46 I-18 cabooses originally wore this classic B&O Royal Blue with bold yellow ends and unpainted silver roof. ICC applied safety screens to the side widows and individual stand off frames to protect the angled bay windows. B&O crews quickly removed the single main screen on the bay window. This is where we start with our model. All of the original 1965 classic white B&O graphics are present, even down to the tiny slack adjuster badge. The air reservoir, ICC paint job and wheel lubrication date stencils are accurate down to the day and month for each individual caboose number. The trust stencil data is or is not applied, based on the individual numbers. Fun fact: The first 26 I-18 cabooses were financed by the B&O through National Commercial bank, while the remaining 20 were purchased directly by the B&O. The fully-painted, two-tone green interior is illuminated with (dim!) lights and the scale-size Pyle lanterns are lit as well. A final detail worth mentioning: Those classic B&O red reflectors on the end railings have been faithfully duplicated with 4 individual red lenses.
